A Submittable Case Study
AT&T, the world’s largest telecommunications company, sought to celebrate and discover imaginative short films through its AT&T Entertainment Project and upcoming AT&T Film Awards but needed a reliable way to reach diverse creators and manage large volumes of entries. To solve that challenge, AT&T turned to Submittable’s submission platform to solicit, organize, and promote submissions from filmmakers.
Using Submittable, AT&T hit its goal of 1,000 submissions in just three weeks, received entries from 41 states, and had to close the submission window early because of overwhelming demand; finalists were then showcased at AT&T Shape, an expo attended by more than 10,000 visitors at Warner Bros. Studios. Submittable’s platform helped AT&T scale outreach, streamline intake, and surface finalists for public exposure, and AT&T is now reopening submissions for the AT&T Film Awards.
