Goodwill Industries - Customer Case Study

Goodwill Industries International is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports a network of 162 autonomous local Goodwill social enterprises in the United States and Canada. To help local organizations access grants and other funding, the team had been creating RFPs in Microsoft Word, emailing them out, and then managing responses manually, which made the process cumbersome and time consuming for applicants, reviewers, and administrators.

Goodwill Industries International worked with Submittable, which the source identifies as WizeHive, to quickly configure a grant management platform for applications, scoring, and awards. The new process let reviewers score 43 applications, with two reviews per application, in one afternoon, and Goodwill estimated a 25% reduction in time spent by reviewers and a 50% reduction in time spent by administrators.
