SANDOW, a diversified media company managing multiple magazines, brands and tools, faced an antiquated and slow process for collecting sensitive medical before-and-after photos—relying on emailed PDFs, printed forms, and faxes. In 2014 SANDOW adopted Submittable’s submission management software, a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform, to modernize and secure those workflows.

Submittable centralized submissions, permissioning, Labels and Reporting, and Dashboard Reports, and was rolled out across seven SANDOW brands (including New Beauty, Luxe Interiors + Design, Galerie, Material Bank, and the Luxe Red Awards) for editorial content, polls, awards, and material samples. The solution saved SANDOW an estimated 4–8 hours every week, eliminated manual spreadsheet work for reporting, improved strategic insights into categories and regions, and provided responsive support that accelerated adoption.
