Climate Ride is a nonprofit that organizes fully supported charitable bike rides (Climate Ride NYC–DC and Climate Ride California) to raise funds for sustainable energy, bike advocacy, and environmental causes, having donated more than $638K. Hiring across three nationwide offices had been handled by email and printed resumes, which made collaborative review slow and cumbersome, so in March 2012 Climate Ride signed up for Submittable’s Resume Manager to streamline the process.

Using Submittable’s Resume Manager, Climate Ride customized its Jobs page and was up and running within 15 minutes; reviewers across the country could label, vote, comment on and sort 43 applicants to collaboratively identify top candidates. The tool saved 20 hours on a full-time hire, sped decision-making, eliminated the email/printing workflow, and Climate Ride plans to keep using Submittable for future hires.
