Case Study: MiiR centralizes grantmaking and saves 100 staff hours with Submittable

A Submittable Case Study

Preview of the MiiR Case Study

Building a CSR Program that Prioritizes the Community

MiiR, a Seattle-based maker of premium stainless steel vessels built around a social impact mission, struggled with a piecemeal grantmaking and community marketing process—multiple Google sheets, scattered emails, and no easy way to track KPIs or total giving. In 2019 they selected Submittable to provide a mission-aligned platform that would centralize applications, data, and partner communications while improving accessibility and equity for nonprofit applicants.

Submittable centralized MiiR’s grantmaking and community marketing workflows, removed barriers for grantees, and gave the whole team access to program data—freeing staff from administrative tasks so they could focus on impact. The platform saved MiiR 100 hours across the application lifecycle, enabled $100,000 worth of product donations to small businesses in 2020, and allowed staff such as the Giving & Sustainability Manager to better balance giving and sustainability work.
