Standard classroom training with pictures and videos failed to replicate the chaotic and dangerous environment of real construction job sites, putting new hires at risk and jeopardizing their decision-making. To address this, United Rentals partnered with Strivr to develop an immersive training solution.

Strivr implemented a virtual reality program using 360-degree video captured from live construction sites. This solution immersed trainees in a dynamic environment where they performed scene explorations and timed assessments to identify hazards and learn sales techniques across five different construction phases.
