Twitter, a global social platform, wanted to give creators new ways to earn money but needed a fast, compliant solution to process and split payments and handle global payouts. The challenge was to launch monetization features quickly without taking on complex payments and compliance burdens.
Using Stripe Connect (plus Payments, Billing and Radar), Twitter shifted payments and compliance to Stripe and used flexible APIs to build Ticketed Spaces and Super Follows. The integration enabled creators to earn, access and manage funds in one place while Twitter focused on product innovation and rolling out monetization globally.
