Fender, the well-known guitar maker behind Fender Play® online guitar lessons, needed a better billing provider for its subscription service. Its old system charged high flat fees that squeezed margins, and it lacked an easy way to manage plan changes. Using **Stripe Billing** and the **Billing migration toolkit**, Fender migrated legacy subscriber data, recreated its product catalog, and validated the transfer with Stripe’s .csv templates and support team. The result was a smooth migration of **70,000 subscriptions in just 3 hours**, with nearly zero errors and no customer data lost. Stripe also helped Fender streamline customer service and keep high authorization rates after the move.
