Dignity Health, one of the largest health systems in the U.S., needed a system-wide, scalable online scheduling solution that improved patient access, integrated with practice management and CRM systems, and worked on web and mobile. To address unknown ER/walk-in wait times and growing patient demand for convenient online tools, Dignity Health implemented InQuicker from Stericycle Communication Solutions.
Stericycle deployed its InQuicker self-scheduling platform across more than 55 Dignity Health locations with on-site implementation, training, marketing support, and a real-time analytics console. Over a 10-month period roughly corresponding to June 2013–May 2014, about 25,000 patients used InQuicker (17,100 ED, 8,300 urgent care, 950 doctor visits), 52% of whom were new to Dignity Health, and the system drove higher patient satisfaction, expanded use into physician practices and outpatient services, and supported patient acquisition and retention.
