A Stackla Case Study
The Ad Council, a national nonprofit, runs the Love Has No Labels campaign to promote acceptance across gender, race, religion, ability and age. After the 2015 "Skeletons" video went viral (11 million views in 24 hours), thousands of people began sharing their own photos with #LoveHasNoLabels; the challenge was how to curate and showcase that diverse, organic user-generated content across the campaign’s website and social channels.
Partnering with Stackla, the Ad Council aggregated posts from Instagram, Facebook and Twitter into two real-time UGC galleries—one for the hashtag and one for corporate partners—and amplified selected content across social and physical media. The effort has sourced more than 40,000 images, driven consistently higher engagement, strengthened partner participation, created memorable activations (like billboards featuring real contributors), and helped sustain the campaign’s award-winning momentum.
