US Mutual Fund Firm, a $300 billion AUM asset manager, faced a major data challenge: roughly 50 different intermediary client feeds arrived in varying formats and quality, forcing lengthy manual cleansing and reprogramming to load information into its CRM. The firm engaged SS&C Technologies (via its Asset Manager Solutions team) to address the administrative burden using robotic process automation (RPA) alongside SS&C’s AWD platform.

SS&C Technologies implemented a customized RPA solution with AWD to ingest, cleanse and standardize intermediary feeds and deliver clean data directly to the firm’s CRM. The automation improved data accuracy and timeliness, enhanced business and client reporting, and cut internal labor from about 40 hours to roughly 5 hours per month — a reduction of more than 85%.
