On time, under budget Advent and Sentinel partner for an exceptional migration experience

Sentinel Investments, a Montpelier, VT–based asset manager with $7 billion AUM, needed stronger reporting, institutional-grade capabilities, business continuity and relief for its internal IT team to support growth. To meet those needs Sentinel engaged SS&C Technologies to move off its long‑standing Axys platform to Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX), upgrade Moxy and interfaces, and adopt Advent OnDemand hosting.

SS&C Technologies’ Advent Services team managed the migration, integrated third‑party data and trading feeds, and delivered customized APX dashboards. The project finished on time and under budget, eliminated daily paper reports by replacing them with interactive dashboards and drill‑downs, improved operational efficiency, and outsourced maintenance and disaster recovery—positioning Sentinel to expand into institutional lines of business.
