Mine Super Outsources to SS&C to Improve Costs and Deliver Continued Member Satisfaction

Mine Super, a trusted superannuation fund with over 56,000 members, faced the challenge of reducing administration costs per member while maintaining high service standards, compliance and cyber‑security as it scaled. To achieve a rapid, low‑disruption upgrade to a modern, scalable administration platform, Mine Super selected SS&C Technologies and its SS&C Intelligent Administration offering via a lift‑out to outsource contact centre, claims management, fund administration and fund accounting.

SS&C Technologies executed a lift‑out that transferred 64 in‑house administration staff (with a lift‑out success rate above 95%) and migrated Mine Super onto SS&C’s cloud‑based platform and Bluedoor registry, going live in February 2023 and completing core integration by December 2023. The move delivered improved member service standards, greater automation and STP, and the potential for reduced operational costs—enabling Mine Super to focus on growth—while SS&C Technologies now operates a fully operational, end‑to‑end Australian administration service backed by global technology and ongoing R&D investment.
