Minneapolis-Based Investment Management Company, an employee-owned asset manager with roughly $6bn AUM, needed to streamline and automate its investment management solutions and operations onto a single platform after long use of PORTIA. After a thorough vendor review, the firm selected SS&C Technologies’ Aloha (including Aloha IBOR and Aloha Recon) to consolidate front-, middle- and back-office accounting and reconciliation functions.

SS&C Technologies implemented Aloha as a unified, modular platform with persona-based dashboards, exceptions-based automated workflows and a real-time data layer, replacing manual processes and operational silos. The deployment delivered consolidated end-to-end functionality, improved workflow automation and efficiency, scalability and reduced operational cost, and the Minneapolis-Based Investment Management Company is now planning to expand SS&C Technologies’ Aloha to include OMS and client reporting in the next phase.
