Causeway Capital Management, a Los Angeles–based global equity investment manager, faced rapidly growing and increasingly complex client reporting requirements that their early-2000s system could no longer support. Clients demanded individualized, customizable reports, so Causeway selected Vision FI from SS&C Technologies to replace the legacy solution and enable a new, data-driven approach to reporting.

SS&C Technologies implemented Vision FI as a configurable, data-first client communications platform and worked closely with Causeway to build the necessary data model and templates. The change cut report rendering from 7–8 minutes to about 30 seconds (more than 10x faster), reduced QA steps through improved data integrity, automated client commentary and consultant questionnaires, added internal operations reporting and a Vision FI xPortal, and allowed Causeway to double assets and clients without reporting pain—saving countless hours per month.
