Vision Australia - Customer Case Study

Vision Australia, a not-for-profit supporting more than 27,500 people with blindness and low vision, needed to replace outdated technology with a sophisticated, highly accessible intranet to improve collaboration, productivity and referrals. They partnered with Squiz to build a modern system that met strict accessibility requirements for an organisation where about 15% of staff are vision-impaired.

Squiz custom-built an ultra-accessible, social intranet with single sign-on, tagging/liking, media sharing and group creation; within two weeks staff created 20 groups, showing rapid adoption. The Squiz solution enabled real-time information sharing across the organisation, increased collaboration and productivity, and helped staff deliver higher-value customer service by tapping the company’s knowledge pool anywhere, anytime.
