The Royal Parks - Customer Case Study

The Royal Parks, which manages and preserves over 5,000 acres of historic parkland across London, partnered with Squiz to refresh their website and upgrade from the legacy Squiz CMS to Squiz Matrix CMS. They wanted a modern, mobile-optimised site that better showcased the parks’ beauty and improved accessibility and user journeys for visitors and staff.

Squiz conducted user research with The Royal Parks, converted PSD designs into responsive HTML templates, migrated content into Squiz Matrix CMS, and built features such as event calendars, map integration and online licence application processing. The new site trained more staff on Edit+ so contributors can edit content directly, produced 120+ pages, and delivered measurable improvements—Squiz’s work helped drive a 16% increase in satisfaction and a 10% rise in mobile views.
