Queensland Sentencing Advisory Council - Customer Case Study

The Queensland Sentencing Advisory Council (QSAC) needed to better inform and engage the public about the complexities of sentencing and to collect public opinion by placing users in a judge’s shoes. Already using the Squiz Matrix CMS for their corporate site, QSAC engaged Squiz to design a cost-effective, easily editable, video-based interactive solution that would integrate with their existing platform and handle campaign traffic while capturing usable data.

Squiz built the "Judge for Yourself" microsite off the Squiz Matrix CMS, using video re-enactments, quizzes and Funnelback search for live survey and analytics integration so results could be easily extracted and displayed. Launched in May 2017, the Squiz solution drove over 8,000 users in the first six weeks (against a 20,000-in-one-year target), earned overwhelmingly positive feedback, is being used in school and university programs, and is positioned to expand with partner agencies.
