Process Automation Leads to Better Customer Experiences

Austroads, the peak organisation for Australasian road transport and traffic agencies, needed to reform the Safety Barrier Assessment Panel (ASBAP) submission and review cycle to improve transparency and reduce administrative costs. To replace paper submissions and provide an automated online process, Austroads worked with Squiz to develop a digital solution as part of a website redesign.

Squiz built and launched the ASBAP Digital Submission Portal in January 2019 using the Squiz Matrix CMS, enabling online account creation, current and historical application access, and streamlined tracking for suppliers and Panel members. The Squiz solution delivered an easier application process, significantly reduced administrative time, and improved access to information—transforming a postal, untrackable workflow into a more efficient, transparent system.
