Jane is a global web-based clinic management platform that helps clinicians book, chart, schedule, and invoice care across thousands of clinics. Many customers were using legacy payment terminals that didn’t connect to Jane, forcing clinicians to manually enter payment amounts and mark invoices paid—adding administrative work that ran counter to Jane’s mission of freeing clinicians to focus on patients.
Jane integrated Square Terminal using the Terminal API, OAuth, and webhooks so in-person payments automatically post to invoices and trigger in-app notifications. The team built an initial integration in about two weeks, launched in the U.S. and Canada, and saw more than 500 clinics sign up within one week; plans now include rollouts in the UK and Australia and expanded telehealth support.
