Tea & Sympathy, an England-inspired café and retail shop serving customers since 1990, needed a better way to manage in-person dining, retail sales, and inventory across channels. After pandemic shutdowns created new challenges, the business turned to Square and its POS tools to replace an outdated system and support both storefront and online ordering.
Square helped Tea & Sympathy launch an online store, sync inventory between in-store and online sales, and track orders in real time for pickup and delivery. The team also used Square’s customizable iPad item grid and historical sales reports to simplify operations and plan stock more accurately, giving them a clearer view of inventory and helping them keep popular items on hand.
