Plant Therapy, a San Francisco plant shop, wanted a simple way to drive repeat sales and build customer loyalty without slowing down busy in-store checkout lines. Using Square, the business looked for a rewards program that would integrate with its existing tools, be easy for staff to manage, and offer flexible redemption options.

Square implemented Square Loyalty, connected through Square Point of Sale and managed from Square Dashboard, with support from Square Marketing for promotional emails. The program helped Plant Therapy enroll more than 8,000 customers, and in 2022 loyalty members’ average spend per transaction was more than double that of non-loyalty customers, while also increasing repeat visits, referrals, and overall sales.
