Tikka Shack, part of the Masala Wok restaurant group, grew from a single fast-casual Indian concept into a multi-location business while facing the challenge of opening new stores more affordably, managing customer data, and getting real-time sales visibility. The founders turned to Square, including its restaurant and online ordering tools, to help streamline operations and support expansion.
Square implemented an all-in-one system that simplified menu updates, reduced hardware and build-out costs, and improved catering and loyalty marketing efforts. The results included expansion to 14 locations, online pickup accounting for 15% of order volume, and a 50% drop in phone orders, with Square continuing to support future growth plans.
