Blue Bottle Coffee, known for its focus on freshness and sustainability, needed to keep innovating to stay relevant while meeting growing customer demand for fast, high-quality coffee experiences. Using Square, including the Square Dashboard and developer tools, Blue Bottle looked for ways to better understand product performance, customer behavior, and operational needs across its cafés.
Square helped Blue Bottle launch an Order Ahead mobile app with in-app payments, gather real-time sales and customer feedback, and improve staffing and product decisions. As a result, Blue Bottle expanded contactless ordering during the pandemic, tested and scaled new drinks based on data, and supported growth across its café network with insights that helped improve sales and customer experience.
