Virgin Trains eliminates 7 years of paper records with Sprint Innovations

The customer, Virgin Trains, faced the challenge of improving contractor safety and wanted to trial a technological solution to replace their paper-based visitor management system. They partnered with vendor Sprint Innovations to create a simple, intuitive digital system that would ensure contractors had the correct permits and safety briefings to work on-site.

Sprint Innovations developed a paperless visitor management system consisting of an iPad sign-in app and a complementary web application. The solution successfully eliminated the need to maintain seven years' worth of paper records, ensured health and safety obligations were met, and was happily adopted across the customer's train stations in the United Kingdom.
