High Five, a two-day marketing and creative conference in Raleigh, faced the challenge of standing out in a crowded event market and driving buzz among people who weren’t there. Founder Evan Carroll adopted a FOMO-driven strategy to get attendees to share positive experiences in real time, while also needing to manage the risks of displaying user-generated content live and reduce event operational overhead.
Using Sprinklr’s Command Center, organizers pulled attendee posts in real time, displayed them on strategic screens, and applied moderation rules to prevent negative posts from amplifying. The result: user-generated content surged more than 15x, the event generated 2,023 mentions, photo captures rose from 100 to 1,600, configuration time was dramatically reduced, and organizers gained actionable engagement metrics to guide future events.
