How JetBlue Enhanced Their Cybersecurity Posture by Using SPHEREboard

JetBlue, the American low-cost airline, needed to improve its cybersecurity posture by tackling Active Directory hygiene, reducing unnecessary privileged access, and scaling user access recertification (UAR) beyond regulatory applications. To address these Identity and Access Management (IAM) challenges, JetBlue partnered with SPHERE Technology Solutions and used SPHEREboard.

SPHERE Technology Solutions implemented SPHEREboard with a standard deployment and a specially designed PCI-safe architecture, helping JetBlue automate access reviews and clean up identity debt. The results were significant: JetBlue retired about 75% of identified outdated groups and accounts, confirmed ownership for 90% of groups and accounts, and saved substantial people hours on UAR processes, while also improving data access management and overall compliance.
