Zalando, the European online fashion and lifestyle platform, wanted to keep customers engaged and convert more shoppers during live shopping events while overcoming limited interaction, tracking, and repeat-engagement challenges on social media. Spectrm helped Zalando use Facebook Messenger to make live shopping more interactive and to reach audiences through messaging.

Using Spectrm’s direct message automation, retargeting messages, and entry points from paid, organic, website, and owned channels, Zalando sent personalized offers in DMs to customers who reacted during live events and captured zero-party data to improve targeting. The result was 3.2x incremental ROAS, a +5 point awareness uplift among Gen Z, and 64% of comments turning into shopping requests despite the new format.
