Telekom, the European telecommunications provider, wanted a better way to attract new customers for its mobile contracts aimed at younger audiences under 28. Working with Spectrm, Telekom looked for a scalable way to personalize the online buying experience and help shoppers quickly find the right phone and data bundle.
Spectrm implemented a conversational advertising experience using Google AdLingo Ads, featuring a chatbot named “Tommy” that recommended tailored contract bundles in real time. The campaign generated about 6,500 engaged conversations, achieved a 15% CTR from conversation to checkout, delivered 1m 40s of average engaged conversation time per user, and produced a 4x return on ad spend.
