Telekom Contract Finder Chatbot Drives Sales

Telekom, a global telecommunications company and Europe’s largest provider by revenue, needed to recreate the in‑store experience online so customers—especially millennials—could more easily find the right phone contract. To solve this, Telekom worked with Spectrm and deployed a conversational marketing/social messaging solution on Facebook Messenger.

Spectrm built "Tommy," a contract‑finding chatbot on Messenger that uses dynamic product feeds, personalized retargeting and conversation analytics to recommend bundles at scale. The Spectrm solution launched in six weeks and drove major impact: a 9x lift in contract conversions and 9x lower acquisition costs versus the website, significantly improving Telekom’s online sales performance.
