AOK Plus, a major health insurer in Saxony and Thuringia with over 3 million members, faced the challenge of verifying the delivery time and ensuring the consistent high quality of its large volume of outgoing mail. Spectos designed a transit time measurement system using pre-produced test letters sent to a panel of over 1,000 participating households. Since 2013, Spectos has conducted these quality measurements up to four times a year across six regions, providing AOK Plus with reliable data on delivery performance. This solution allows AOK Plus to perform quality checks and negotiate with service providers based on the objective data supplied by Spectos.
