How Schneider Electric LATAM built a scalable B2B channel with SparkLayer & Latech

Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management, needed a scalable and unified eCommerce platform to serve its distributor network across Latin America. Their challenge was to efficiently manage B2B wholesale orders and integrate them with B2C operations on Shopify, all while avoiding the high costs of Shopify Plus. They partnered with the vendor SparkLayer to address these needs.

Using SparkLayer's B2B platform, Schneider Electric implemented tailored price lists and ordering rules for its distributors directly within its existing Shopify store. This solution, delivered with the help of agency partner Latech, resulted in a scalable system that supports both B2C and B2B from a single platform. The project provided significant cost savings, a more efficient ordering process for distributors, and was launched as a minimum viable product in just two months.
