Asmodee UK, a major distributor of board games, faced the challenge of scaling its B2B operations to meet growing demand. Their new Shopify store lacked the necessary B2B functionality for complex pricing structures and bulk ordering. They needed a solution to automate their sales process and provide a better experience for their trade customers, which led them to partner with the vendor SparkLayer.
SparkLayer was implemented on top of Shopify to create a dedicated B2B store. The solution provided customer-specific pricing, live stock feeds, and the ability for clients to upload bulk orders via CSV files. This integration with their SAPB1 system automated order processing, eliminating manual data entry. The results included a dramatically improved customer experience, streamlined operations for the sales team, and the successful launch of a self-service platform that was highly requested by their clients.
