Veolia completes cloud service transition in 80 days with Sopra Steria

Veolia, a global leader in optimized resource management, began a digital transformation to modernize its workspaces and digitize its services. To accelerate this change and implement its "Cloud First" strategy, the customer called upon the vendor Sopra Steria to roll out cloud best practices and provide support for application migration and management.

Sopra Steria provided end-to-end support, first through its Beamap entity for cloud consulting and creating a "Digital Factory" plan. Its Infrastructure Management teams then managed cloud operations and migrations to AWS and Google Cloud, implementing automation and a DevOps tool suite. The results included controlled transition risk, cost reductions, and improved organizational efficiency for Veolia's IS Department, with over 150 applications managed in cloud mode.
