Kent Fire and Rescue Service saves over £2m with Sopra Steria

Kent Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) faced the challenge of an ageing mobilisation system and sought a mission-critical solution from vendor Sopra Steria to improve the efficiency of its emergency call handling and response times.

Sopra Steria implemented its multi-agency STORM command and control system, which was already in use by Kent Police. This first UK dual-service implementation enabled quick information sharing between agencies, faster mobilising decisions, and delivered over £2m in operational savings for the customer.
