Zürich Tourism, which markets the Zürich region, wanted to showcase the city’s culinary diversity and drive participation in a website food quiz that matches users with local restaurants. The challenge was to promote the quiz creatively and non-intrusively across Italy, the UK and the DACH region in three languages to reach in-market travelers.
In September 2018 Zürich partnered with Sojern to run Native ads that used traveler intent data and integrated creative to tell a more holistic story. Over one month the campaign drove 2,319 quiz landing-page visits at a CHF 8.64 cost per acquisition and achieved an 84% quiz completion rate, engaging thousands of potential visitors.
