Visit Salt Lake, the destination marketing organization for Salt Lake City, partnered with Sojern to boost winter ski tourism. Their goals were to increase overall leisure ski travelers, attract longer stays of six nights or more, and drive engaged visitors to visitsaltlake.com.
Sojern used travel-site data and post-impression visitation tracking to target and measure ad-driven travel to Salt Lake. The campaign delivered strong outcomes: 62% of Sojern’s audience booked stays of 6+ nights, incremental travelers produced a 57.7x ROAS in economic impact, Sojern ranked 2nd of eight publishers for impression-to-leisure-traveler conversion, and exposed travelers were 22% more likely to visit after seeing the ads.
