A Sojern Case Study
Travel Tacoma + Pierce County, the official destination marketing organization for Pierce County, Washington, needed a way to quantify the impact of its leisure marketing. In summer 2018 they partnered with Sojern to raise awareness, drive visitors to the DMO website, and convert interest into actual overnight stays.
Sojern ran a four-month programmatic campaign using video to capture attention and display to stay top-of-mind, driving email signups, visitor-guide downloads and tens of thousands of flight and hotel searches. The effort delivered 4,552 hotel room night confirmations, brought an estimated 3,174 travelers to the county, generated $377,706 in traveler spend and achieved a 19:1 return on investment.
