Valencia Hotel Group, a collection of seven award‑recognized boutique hotels, needed to expand its digital footprint to win direct bookings but was constrained by limited budget, time and resources. The group sought a multi‑channel strategy that delivered the reach of a large chain without unpredictable costs.
In October 2018 Valencia partnered with Sojern’s subscription model for three properties, running Display, SEM, Facebook/Instagram and Metasearch under a fixed monthly fee. In seven months the program generated more than $1M in direct booking revenue and delivered a 9X return on the hotel’s marketing spend, while providing easier measurement and control of campaigns.
