The Marker Hotel, a luxury design property on Dublin’s Grand Canal Square and member of The Leading Hotels of the World, wanted to increase direct bookings but assumed programmatic advertising was only for large chains. Seeking a more targeted, low-risk approach, the marketing team opted to test Sojern’s commission-based, pay-on-the-stay solution so they only paid when bookings occurred.
Sojern used real-time search and booking intent data to prospect and retarget in-market travelers with Display ads, providing a full-funnel digital strategy. In the first six months this drove 163 bookings and €69,663 in incremental direct booking revenue, with an additional 62 bookings and €39,469 in revenue following January 2018, resulting in stronger website revenue and a more targeted marketing program.
