Discovery Hospitality, a Philippine group of hotels and resorts known for personalized Filipino hospitality, faced the challenge of growing international direct bookings with a lean in-house marketing team and limited budget. While local demand was strong, the team needed a cost-effective way to raise the brand’s profile overseas and drive more direct bookings.
They partnered with Sojern to run commission-based, real-time campaigns across Display, Facebook and Instagram for four properties. The multi-channel program generated $579,491 in direct booking revenue in 2018, a 162% year‑over‑year increase, and doubled organic YoY growth of Sojern-driven direct bookings — all on a pay‑on‑the‑stay model.
