Pineapple Hospitality, a boutique hotel group with properties in Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco, aimed to increase direct bookings for four hotels—Hotel FIVE, Hotel Rose, The Hotel California, and University Inn. Their goals were to boost online brand exposure, drive reservations through targeted campaigns, and capture travelers who had recently searched those destinations.
Sojern applied look‑alike modeling and intent data tailored to each hotel’s customer demographics to reach in‑market travelers. The campaign averaged 23 direct bookings per property per month, generated over $293K in additional revenue across the four hotels, contributed roughly 7% of monthly bookings per property, and produced a 130%+ lift in reservations over a 30‑day period.
