GF Hotels operates two four-star properties in Benidorm, Spain, where intense seasonal demand and close proximity to competitors make standing out — and increasing direct bookings without over-relying on third parties — a persistent challenge. The group wanted a cost-effective way to raise brand awareness and drive guests to book on their own sites rather than through large OTAs.
GF Hotels tested Sojern’s RevDirect™, a performance-based display and retargeting program that serves relevant ads to travelers researching or heading to Benidorm and charges commission only after completed stays. In just over six months the campaign generated more than €84k in direct booking revenue and 120 bookings across the two hotels, with a further €51k and 40 reservations in the pipeline, and a notable reduction in bookings through many third-party partners.
