DAMAC Hotels and Resorts, the hospitality arm of DAMAC Properties, operates luxury hotel apartments in prime Dubai locations. Facing fierce competition in Dubai’s booming tourism market and aiming to raise brand identity and increase direct bookings, DAMAC sought a more effective way to reach travellers and drive revenue.

Partnering with Sojern (from January 2018), DAMAC used RevDirect Display and Facebook/Instagram campaigns across four properties; Sojern targets in-market travellers and only charges commission after stays are completed. In 11 months this drove 160 bookings and 446,928 AED in direct booking revenue, boosted overall direct traffic and ADR, and increased online brand exposure.
