Air France, the leading French airline and founding member of the SkyTeam alliance, needed to drive more in-market travelers to its site and convert flight searches into bookings. The challenge was to retarget users who had searched routes or started checkout within 30 days but hadn’t completed a purchase, and to do so more efficiently at scale.
Working with Adphorus, Air France implemented Facebook Dynamic Ads for Travel with proper pixel tracking, segmented retargeting audiences, and dynamic creative showcasing flights and destination offers. The campaigns scaled from 15 markets to a global reach of 2 million people, cutting cost per booking by 57% while delivering a 12× improvement in conversion rate and an 11× increase in ROAS.
