Veenman, a supplier of printing systems and document-management solutions, struggled with an outdated calculation system, manual quotation and contract creation in Word, and inconsistent pricing and document formats across sales teams. The company needed a more flexible way to manage sales documents and calculations, and chose Sofon to replace its old system.
With Sofon, Veenman rolled out a new configuration and document-creation process across four sales areas after a proof-of-concept, involving staff at every level to drive adoption. Sofon helped standardize quotations and contracts, reduce errors, improve control and visibility over calculations, and speed up document production to as little as 5 minutes for simpler orders. Veenman also reported that about 80 field staff and 25 office staff now use Sofon, and the company plans to integrate it with Microsoft Navision for even greater efficiency.
