Novoferm Nederland BV, part of Sanwa Shutter Corporation, is a manufacturer and supplier of quality doors for industrial and private markets. The company struggled with highly complex product configuration, especially for sectional overhead doors, and had previously used multiple configurators that were too limited or difficult to maintain. It needed one uniform solution for configuring products and generating quotations across all departments.

Novoferm implemented Sofon’s Guided Selling solution, using the Sofon Sales Organizer, Sofon Proposal Organizer, and SAP integration. With Sofon, Novoferm can configure complex doors, generate quotations, create bills of materials and routings, and send orders directly into SAP and production, while reducing manual work and data re-entry. The result was a standardized process, fewer errors, more flexible change handling, and better control over production data; Novoferm also plans to extend Sofon to its full product range and dealer network.
