Minkels, part of Legrand, is a global manufacturer of data centre infrastructure that shifted from selling individual products to delivering complete, customer-specific solutions. As rooms and configurations became more complex and varied, the company needed a way to ensure that racks, cooling, electrical components and cable systems all fit within fixed spatial constraints while still producing accurate quotations.

Using Sofon’s 3D configuration module and quotation software, Minkels can visualize the full solution before configuring it, helping teams spot fit issues, avoid errors and present customers with a clear “right first time” proposal. Sofon also supports Minkels’ dealer rollout: more dealers are moving to the web version to create their own configurations and quotations, reducing internal sales office work and giving Minkels better insight into dealer activity and conversion rates.
