Avaya Teams with SOASTA to Test Global Support Application at Scale

Avaya, a leading provider of customer and team engagement solutions, faced a shrinking test window as its redesigned eSupport Web application neared launch. To validate functionality and performance at scale, Avaya turned to SOASTA and its CloudTest On-Demand service to support testing of up to 2,500 concurrent users without the cost and delay of adding more test infrastructure.

SOASTA helped Avaya build data-driven test scripts and run daily cloud-based performance tests, using real-time dashboards to quickly identify and fix issues. The solution uncovered load balancer, single sign-on, middleware, and memory problems before launch, enabling Avaya to meet its performance and availability SLAs, accelerate testing by 3x, and save time and money by avoiding additional license seats and load generation servers.
