A SmartSurvey Case Study
NHS Solihull Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG), which commissions local NHS services for Solihull, needed a UK‑based, easy-to-use and cost‑effective way to collect and consolidate data from independent contractors while assuring safeguarding compliance. They selected SmartSurvey, deploying a SmartSurvey Enterprise Account to replace multiple spreadsheets and provide secure, UK‑based storage for sensitive information.
SmartSurvey ran a six‑month pilot that standardised contractor submissions, enabled an email trigger to send PDF results as evidence, allowed survey links to be embedded when respondent emails were unavailable, and produced straightforward reports for governing bodies. As a result, SmartSurvey simplified administration, reduced the number of spreadsheets, improved contractor ease‑of‑use, and gave the Information Governance and safeguarding teams assurance that data is stored securely and GDPR compliant, with the platform now used across the organisation.
